The Legal Ombudsman handles issues relating to the quality of the services provided and whether the charges were reasonable. Allegations of breaches of the rules of professional conduct are referred to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulates solicitors and law firms in England and Wales. You can contact the SRA if you have a concern regarding a breach of their principles. More information about the SRA complaints process and their contact details can be found here.
